Why Ottawa concrete fails
Freeze, thaw, salt, repeat — about 30 times a winter.
Water gets into a hairline crack, freezes overnight, expands, and pries it wider. Add road salt and your slab spalls from the surface down. Patching over it never lasts — the fix has to deal with drainage and the crack itself.

+Can concrete be repaired in the winter?
Some of it, yes. Interior foundation crack injection and indoor slab work go year-round. Pours, resurfacing and parging need the right temperatures, so we book those from roughly April through November — and we'll tell you straight if waiting is the better result.
+Do you charge for estimates?
No. On-site estimates are free anywhere in our service area, and you get the price in writing before anything is booked.
+How long before I can drive on a new driveway?
Foot traffic after about 24–48 hours, vehicles after 7 days for most residential pours. We'll give you exact times for your job and leave it barricaded.
+Should I repair or replace?
If the base is sound and the damage is on the surface, repair or resurfacing is usually the honest recommendation — it costs far less. If the slab is broken through or the base has failed, patching is throwing money away. We tell you which one you have.
+Are you insured?
Yes — licensed and WSIB insured, with liability coverage. We'll send certificates before we start if you'd like them.
+What's covered by the warranty?
Our workmanship is warrantied. We'll walk you through exactly what that covers for your job type when we quote it, in writing.
+How far do you travel?
